    These activities don't have to booked by a group and can booked be booked by 1 person up. In order to make the activity viable we will create small teams for outdoor activities. Indoor events will be based on venue capacity. We don't overbook activities/events as we want everyone taking part to be truly involved.

    Field to Fork, a Lamb lovers' journey

    Feld to fork Swaledale showcase

    Part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Cheese Festival. An evening talk & presentation on the iconic Swaledale Sheep. Taking place at the NASH (National School House) in Hawes on 23rd Sept 2017. This event will not only give you an insight into this important breed, but also showcase its meat at it's most mouthwatering.

    Askrigg walk & map reading

    Gentle walk & map read skill session

    This gentle walk, starting from Askrigg in Wensleydale will give you an opportunity to learn about the basics of map reading & orienteering, from pacing, contouring, feature spotting and the general principles of night nav. Although a few miles are covered in this walk and the views will be pretty, this is not a route march, but more a gentle meander and discussion. There will be no tests, and no one will be put on the spot, just an opportunity for self learning in a lovely setting.

    Full Dales activity day

    Twistleton Scar climbing & Lake Semerwater Canoeing

    Part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Cheese Festival. This is a whole day out, with 2 enjoyable activities. In the morning you'll be expertly guided by our instructor climbing on Twistleton Scar. Whether a novice or seasoned climber you'll be expertly guided in order to make the most of your morning climbing. After a delightful Yorkshire picnic, the afternoon will be spent canoeing on Lake Semerwater. Includes pickup and travel to all activities as well as returning you to accommodation.

    Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

    Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, Ingleborough

    Make new friends on this challenging 24 mile walk. Good walking fitness is needed, with an anticipated time of <10 hrs to include lunch and refreshment stops. We can provide a picnic lunch if required, and can arrange transfers to & from local towns / train stations.
